Privacy Policy.
How Dean Brannon Institute collects, uses, and protects your information.
Effective date: June 25, 2026
Dean Brannon Institute ("DBI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through dbi-llc.org (the "Site") and our Services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly — for example when you submit a form, enroll, book a consultation, or donate:
- Parent/guardian name and student name

- Student age or grade level and current school
- Program or service of interest
- Message content and any details you choose to share
- Donation details and billing information (processed by Stripe — see Section 5)
- Booking details submitted through Calendly
Information collected automatically when you visit the Site: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages visited, time on site, referring website, and cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information when you complete a contact, enrollment, partnership, donation, or booking form; schedule a consultation through Calendly; make a payment through Stripe; email or call us; or browse the Site.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to inquiries and provide the programs and services you request;
- Enroll students and communicate with parents/guardians about participation;
- Process payments and donations;
- Schedule and manage appointments;
- Improve our Site, programs, and services;
- Send administrative messages and, where permitted, program updates (see Section 9);
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, staff, and participants.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated, anonymized information about how visitors use our Site (such as pages viewed and general location), which helps us improve it. Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can learn about Google's practices and opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.
5. Payment Processing
Payments and donations are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under its own security standards and privacy policy. DBI does not receive or store your full card number. We may receive limited transaction information (such as your name, email, amount, and confirmation) to manage your enrollment or donation. See Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information only as needed with trusted providers that help us operate, including Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), Google (Workspace email/form delivery and Google Analytics), and Netlify (website hosting). These providers process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the safety and rights of DBI, our students, or others.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide our Services, fulfill the purposes described here, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, opt out of marketing, or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at info@dbi-llc.org and we will respond as required by applicable law.
9. Email Communications
If you opt in, we may send updates about our programs and services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by contacting us. We will still send necessary administrative messages related to your enrollment, payments, or appointments.
10. Children's Privacy
DBI provides educational services to students, including minors. Our Site and online forms are directed to parents, guardians, and educators — not to children. We ask that information about a student be submitted by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it. When we work with schools, student information may be handled under our agreement with the school and applicable laws such as FERPA.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information and rely on reputable providers (Stripe, Google, Netlify) with their own security programs. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Links to Other Sites
Our Site may link to third-party sites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites; please review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
