Each course is facilitated by professors in the field of study.
There will be weekly timed practice tests to help students become comfortable with timed exams.
FIRST-STEPS SEMINAR
Dean Brannon’s First Steps and First-Year Seminar course curriculum introduces students to self-evaluation and cultural diversity, study skills, time management, career exploration, financial literacy, research methods, note-taking, and goal setting.
These courses are designed to develop students’ abilities in writing, critical thinking, and information literacy through critical inquiry on a specific topic. The DBI curriculum promotes intellectual exchange, critical thinking, and community involvement. We seek to prepare for the whole student.
